杏吧原创 (鈥淗AZAMA ANDO鈥 or 鈥渢he Company鈥) is endeavoring to protect and coexist harmoniously with the global environment. In carrying out these endeavors, the Company has acquired certification under the Science Based Targets (SBT) Initiative锛堬纷1锛 , an international undertaking, for its established greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions target to limit global warming to well below 2 degrees Celsius, the target of the Paris Agreement on climate change, in December 2019锛圱补产濒别1锛.
Moreover, HAZAMA ANDO has also joined the RE100 Initiative锛堬纷2锛, an international undertaking that is bringing together influential businesses committed to sourcing their electricity needs from renewable energy for their global operations锛圱补产濒别2锛.
Looking ahead, the Company will work diligently to procure renewable energy, participate in various renewable energy businesses, and development of the next-generation energy management system etc. to achieve its targets in line with each of the SBT and RE100 initiatives. In this manner, HAZAMA ANDO is dedicated to the steadfast promotion of various initiatives that will ensure that the next generation enjoys the fruits of a rich global environment by realizing a decarbonized and recycling-oriented society.

锛1锛歋cience Based Targets (SBT) Initiative
The SBT Initiative was jointly established in 2015 by CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project), the United Nations Global Compact, the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) to encourage firms to set GHG emissions reduction targets based on scientific evidence with the aim of controlling global warming within 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.
